Spooky Halloween Pasta


Squid Ink Pasta with Butternut Squash (serves family of 4)

1/2 pound squid ink pasta, cooked
1/2 pound roasted butternut squash, mashed
1/2 cup broth or half and half
1/4 cup parmigiano reggiano cheese, grated
1/2 tsp. black sea salt (optional)
1/4 tsp. black pepper (optional)

For Room Temperature:
Combine cheese, liquid and mashed squash, toss gently with cooked pasta.

For Hot:
Over medium heat in a saucepan, combine liquid and mashed squash, remove pasta from cooking liquid and immediately toss together then sprinkle with cheese and serve immediately.
